This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for RankGem, operated by FounderGem LLC. It is part of our Terms of Service.
1. 7-day money-back guarantee
We want you to be confident in RankGem. If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund of your first subscription payment within 7 days of that initial charge. To request it, email support@rankgem.app from the email on your account within the 7-day window. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method; your subscription will be canceled and access ends when the refund is processed.
2. Renewals and subsequent payments
The money-back guarantee applies to your first payment only. Renewal charges (monthly or annual) are non-refundable, except where required by law. To avoid being charged for a renewal, cancel before your renewal date — see Cancellation below.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing in your account. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then. Canceling does not by itself trigger a refund; the money-back guarantee in Section 1 is separate and time-limited.
4. Plan changes
You can upgrade or change plans at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and are billed through Stripe. Downgrades and switches between monthly and annual billing take effect according to the options shown at the time of change. We do not provide cash refunds for unused generations or partial periods when changing plans.
5. Retention offers
When you start to cancel, we may offer alternatives such as a discount, a pause, or a switch to a smaller plan (Starter, from $29/mo). These offers are optional — you can always decline and complete cancellation.
6. Exceptions and abuse
We may decline a refund where we reasonably believe the guarantee is being abused (for example, repeated refund requests across accounts) or where required by applicable payment-network or legal rules. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction.
